» Thank you, sir. A second, please. Second. Mr. Snodgrass, discussion. I will do by way of venturing into the legality of why we're doing this, just to make sure everybody understands. And Vic, be quick to correct me. But in December, when we voted on meetings for the council, that had the form of an ordinance that has to be repealed. And so in order to cancel a meeting, we need to get at least a quorum to do so. That's just the law. The reason we're canceling it is a week from now, is the meeting of the 25th of June. And on the examination of items submitted for the agenda by members of council, there was insufficient reason for us to have a meeting next week. And it's prudent that we go ahead and cancel it.
» And the next meeting would be the 9th of July, as declared in an ordinance in December. Do I get that about right, Mr. Carpenter? Yes. Yeah. Seems a little stodgy and slow to do it this way, but in the interest of transparency and Robert's Rules of Order and also the laws as passed by the state of South Carolina, this is the way we do business so the public can see that we're doing everything on the up and up and before the full eye of the media and any citizen that wishes to attend. We depart from the normal agenda where we have public hearings and public comments in order to get this simple agenda item done, which is, as was forwarded by Mr. Bozard, that we cancel the meeting next week. So with that, any further discussion necessary? With that, we move to a vote.
» All those in favor, so signify. And the meeting is approved, the motion is approved, and the meeting is canceled, and we'll see each other on the 9th of July. With that, I'm ready to accept a motion to adjourn. Chairman, I'm going to make a motion we adjourn this meeting. Thank you, David. And a second? Second. Second from Ben Connell. Any discussion? With that, I think we're ready to adjourn. All those in favor, signify by raising your hand. And it's unanimous, and we are adjourned. Thank you very much.
